Cancellation and Amendment Policies 

At Travel Genius Sdn. Bhd. ("Travel Genius"), we strive to provide exceptional services to our customers. However, we recognize that unforeseen circumstances may necessitate changes or cancellations. The following policies outline the terms and conditions regarding cancellations and amendments to bookings made with Travel Genius, ensuring compliance with the Tourism Industry Act 1992 and applicable Malaysian laws.

1.      General Policy

• Non-Amendable and Non-Refundable Services:
• Bookings for flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel-related services are generally non-amendable and non-refundable unless stated otherwise by the respective service provider.
• Amendments or cancellations are subject to the terms and conditions, availability, and applicable penalties of the service provider.
• Fare Differences:
• Customers are responsible for any fare differences or additional charges that may arise due to amendments to their bookings.

2. Administrative Fees

• Processing Charges:
• Travel Genius reserves the right to impose an administrative fee ranging from RM100 to RM300 per person for processing amendments or cancellations.
• This fee is separate from any charges levied by the service provider.

3. Refunds

• No-Shows and Unused Portions:
• No refunds will be issued for no-shows or any unused portions of a travel package.
• Refund Processing:
• Refunds, if applicable, will be processed as credit transfers to the customer’s bank account within a reasonable timeframe, subject to the service provider’s policies.
• Non-Refundable Fees:
• Handling fees, administrative charges, and other service-related expenses incurred during the booking process are strictly non-refundable.

4. Compliance with Malaysian Law

• Regulatory Adherence:
• This policy complies with the Tourism Industry Act 1992 provisions and all other relevant laws and regulations in Malaysia.
• Customer Responsibility:
• Customers are strongly advised to thoroughly review all terms and conditions before confirming their bookings. By proceeding with a booking, customers agree to abide by the stated cancellation and amendment policies.
